Don't blame you. How is the £38 justified? It sounds more like
a conference rate than a hostel rate to me. Don't the YHA have
a pricing agreement with the campuses (campi?) so that the costs
are at least similar to each other?

How very - convenient. I hope you pointed out that it was now
too late for you to take up their kind offer?

Clearly not. I see at Reading it is £25 per night. Sheesh.

That crossed my mind too.
I think its sad it did, but it is a reflection of the direction the yha is
moving in.

What a shame. ;-)

Wonder why their answerphone was on before 10:00? Aren't they
supposed to be open for business until then?
