Got a load of absolute rubbish in it! 'YHA network continues to grow'! But they don't mention the large number of closures. Do they think we are that stupid? Alan |

Absolutely true, but it might, just, be worth keeping the membership going, at least it does give access to some useful places. Alan > > Phil (G1LKJ) > |

We didn't rejoin at our last renewal, having seen the way teh yha has gone. However we have just decided to stay at a few hostels in Holland over Christmas so our payment was been sent off... ....to syha. We received our cards in a couple of days :-) Sorry yha (E&W) you've lost the game. John B |

At the time, the £60 was equivalent to just four years of annual renewal at YHA at £15 a year. We figured £120 for us both was a damned sight cheaper than the £210 each YHA wants for life membership, we can still stay at all YHA's hostels and we prefer the Scottish "Hosteller" mag. :-) |
