Default Goodbye sheet sleeping bag

Sheet sleeping bags only have a year to go. With effect from 1st
March 2008 SSB will be phased out and replaced by bottom sheet and
duvet cover and two pillow cases.

So some major investment in linen although I understand it will be
leased rather than purchased.

Thank god for small mercies, although I confess that I often pack a silk
sleeping bag liner for my personal use in YHs, and that there isn't so
very much difference between the two...

Sheet sleeping bags were phased out some time ago in my experience,
replaced by a pillowcase attached to a 12 foot by 2 foot length of
material. Occasionally a few inches of this material is stitched
together, making it a *feet* sleeping bag.

Where did you hear about this Nigel?
