Discover, the replacement magazine for Triangle, dropped on my
doorstep this morning.

I'm not sure what to make of it yet, it's on heavier paper than
Triangle so it feels and looks more glossy which I think is a plus.
There is more emphasis on hostels and what the attractions to that
area are rather than the other way round which again I think is a
positive move. It also, feels to me, that someone is actually trying
to communicate outside the membership although a little bit does grate
with me e.g. 'you don't have to stay in dorms' No you don't have to
but you mayneed to and that isn't made clear, IMO.

I received my copy a few days ago and I did wonder what was it trying
to be? I think it may be a handy advert for people who may consider
hostelling but just didn't know anything about the YHA, but I didn't
find anything to /read/ in there. It just seems to be glossy adverts
really.
