With home videos recorded by Israeli soldiers gurdin
a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip, and intimate
access to the Palestinian refugee camp surrounding
them, THE JUNCTION is an emotional story confined
in space and time, yet it reaches far into the social
fabric of both societies.

The film tells the stories of two young men, Fahmi
Abou Ammouneh and David Biri, the first of many
who have since died at the crossroads between
the settlement and the camp.

As it charts the ripple effects of their deaths
on their loved ones and communities.

THE JUNCTION explores the culture of
death that feeds the political impasse consuming
both Israelis and Palestinians.
