If it's the guy I'm think of he certainly has had a bad 10 years or so.

When he left public office he stepped up to the plate to defend a woman in
Spotsylvania County who was arrested on FELONY charges because she was late
bring back some video tapes.

He did a lot of stuff that was silly to downright WRONG but he still
deserves some praise for what he did to help this woman.
