Any home owners out there that just received their notices from the
county assessors? I got mine last week. My property in Highland went up 60% in value and my property taxes went up 40%. That hurt as we bought in Utah to get away from high taxes in Ca. If they continue to go up 60% a year, soon my house will be worth more than Bill Gate's house in WA. Anyone interested in a $10,000,000 house in Highland? Eddie |

If it's been less than a year you have a paid appraisal that you got when you bought your house and the county will use that if you appeal it. In my case , the house i just bought November 2005, went up in value a few grand but my appraisal is still higher than what the county is appraising it for so it is best that I DON'T appeal mine. |
