I had looked at the web site a couple days ago, and http://www.freefall.com/
stated the registration dates next month. Today I find this: "Mar 27th 2007 -- Don Kirlin and the World Free Fall Convention announced today the 2007 event has been cancelled. Citing logistic and personal reasons, the world's largest skydiving event is taking a break." |

>Wonder what the real story is. My guess is since raising the price through the roof for companies to display thier products there, most if not all pulled out. It was awesome in 2004 (the last great year) with everyone there, demo rigs from everyone, demo canopies from everyone.........even seminars and educational videos. With no companies on display it is just another boogie with otters, casas, skyvans and king air. |
