Thanks Most Marinas and a lot of Chandlers have a local tide table on the counter as a feeby. Pick one up and when you are away from home look up 'high tide for the day' on a website or the local and work out the offset (ie: half an hour before... etc.) It won't be exact but it's near enough unless you're in the Solent where a mile up the coast is a different planet. nigelh -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
