I for one want to go! Imagine - no hair balls, no plasters (where have they
been?), no glutinous bits of uncertain origin . . . .

Yes, it's real. I go there next saturday evening for a dive. Water 30°C low
cholirine.
Now you all just need a flight to Brussels Belgium :-) Yhey told me it's
the deepest public pool in the world.

Hello there !

I've been there too last year, a very nice day out. Top gear (aqualung
BC jacket and legend demand valve) included in the price. Entrance fee
is about 15 euros per person. No booking requested. Warm fresh water
harmful for your eyes (it's a real pleasure to take your mask off). 2
hours and a half drive from Paris. Once you're dry, you may sit taking
your lunch and watch other divers through massive square portholes.
Depth is not 33 but 35 m ( 105 ft) ....

Well I'm already looking at flights to Brussels, out on a Friday and return
on a Monday, with the possibility of staying for three nights in a nearby
Ibis hotel (economical abd clean!) Of course with flying I'd need to stay
longer than just for diving, for off-gassing. Having looked at the various
routes (drive + ferry, Eurotunnel or fly) flying is by far the most
convenient and from where I am in the UK, all cost roughly the same. I'd see
about getting 4 or 5 dives to make the trip worthwhile. Just need time off
from work, to coincide with my son being off from school . . . .

Unless they've changed the size of meters or feet recently, 35 meters is
just short of 115 feet.

I go to Brussels on business several times a year - looks like I need to
take my kit next time.

Read the website - don't bother, they won't let you use it (most of it
anyway).

Why would you want 4-5 dives ?
Shurely you could see everything in only 3 ;-)

Actually prob just 1 or 2 - AND STOP CALLING ME SHIRLEY!! )

Not been yet - something got in the way. Next dive trip likely to be to the
warmer (and saltier) Red Sea (groan!! not AGAIN!!!) Still, would like to
visit this place in Brussels some time. Must look out for the flimsiest of
excuses to go there.

Yes, I'm looking at excuses to go, but why would you want to go in more
than once - yep I like the idea of doing 33m down in a pool - but why
would anyone want to go in twice or more?

Perhaps if they throw in some fish to chase....
