I'm trying to buy a Mastervolt (formerly VDO) battman battery regulator -
but proving harder than I though. Googling just turns up mail order people like nonstopyachting and aqua-marine who only supply to "profession" skippers (whatever that is supposed to mean). Anybody know of a regular mail order place that carries them? If not grateful for any likely links to mail order places in uk (- I tried Seamark - the only one I know there) and they no longer have them. I want the VDO version because it is small and fits in standard 52mm instrument hole - so don't need links to other versions thanks. |

Try calling these places on the phone. There may be some stock they don't list online, or maybe the last 1 or 2 models they have on the shelf. Besides that, tell them your dimensional requirements, and they may be able to point you to something they do have that will fit the space. |

As an alternative the Expert 501 also uses a 52mm instrument hole and can be
obtained from Merlin Equipment in Poole. Link here >> http://www.merlinequipment.com/produ...=102&cat_id=66 I have this installed on my boat and have been very happy with it. I believe that Aqua-mraine are suppliers to the trade. Many chandlers,
large and small, deal with them so if you go to your local chandler there is a good chance that they will get it for you. The Aqua-marine website has a list of dealers.
