Default Simpson Lawrence spares

Over the week end, the SL400 toilet in my yacht ceased to pump out
efficiently. On Sunday afternoon, I removed it from the boat ant took
it home to dismantle it.
Having established that some of the seals were "past their sell by
date" I was lucky to find this company on the internet, http://www.slspares.co.uk/,
despite advice that spares were unobtainable now from prophets of
gloom and doom !
I placed my order on line at about 9.00pm on Sunday, and am delighted
to report that it has just arrived in this morning's post.
Outstanding service indeed!
No connections etc.

Bad move. You should have binned it and bought something else. Binning my SL 401
9 years ago has resulted in 9 toilet problem free years. I had never had boat
toilet problem free years before.

Just you wait. Martin will be along soon to tell us that he couldn't
get his SL to work and will insist that you use one of those crappy
Dutch toy toilets instead ....

It's not true, but even if it was, why should anybody have to get a reliable
product to work?

*Both* SL toilets that I put up with for more than 20 years leaked. Any boat
toilet is better than a SL. Things like SL toilets put British industry and SL
where they are today. In the mean time RM have sold more than a 100,000. Mine
has worked without a problem or leaking for 9 years.

And mine doesn't leak a drop.
