They have a picture of President Bush in this article and they call him
Michael Chertoff.

Ain't you blokes got no learning?

When will you learn to read Wilma? Nowhere does it say the picture is
Chertoff.
Anyway, who is Bush, and where is he President of, and why should I care?

This is what the caption under the photo of Bush says: "George Bush's
homeland security chief Michael Chertoff , warned the next September
11-style attack could be launched by British Muslims"

Sounds like they think it's Chertoff to me.

> Anyway, who is Bush, and where is he President of, and why should I

You should care because there are now over 2 million Muslims living in
your country and around 5% of these are plotting terrorist attacks
against your country as I write this. Some, according to the article,
are using your country as a base to plot terrorist attacks against the
United States of America. In other words, your liberalism and stick your
head up your arse philosophy is a direct threat to MY country. Isn't it
about time you blokes got your act together over there and started
taking the Muslim terrorist seriously? As long as your sloth only
results in death and destruction in your own country, you have every
right to ignore it. But, when innaction commences to be a threat to
other countries then you have a responsibility to put a stop to it.

It says America doesn't have a problem with home grown terrorists.
Who flew the Sept. 11th planes then? Weren't they American trained home
grown pilots?

I think you will find, provided you check into it, that all but two of
the 9-11 terrorists were Saudis.

Now do you see why we got so cross when so many of your fellow

Were they the same pilots that recently bombed the british squaddies in

The fact is when the USA is the only country actively standing up to the
terrorists it stands to reason some mistakes will be made. While we
regret any coalition casualties we understand that they cannot be
completely avoided. And, when those who get bombed by mistake were in
part at fault for not disclosing their location, avoiding such things is
even more difficult.

At least we don't allow rubber boats full of our sailors and marines to
be kidnapped right under the guns of our destroyers and then have to
watch them on the telly whining and sniveling like a bunch of little
girls. Quite frankly, that was a pathetic display even for girl scouts,
let alone trained professional military blokes.

While I accept that this was not very dignified, there was, I believe,

On the other hand words such as Iran Contra 1979 hostages crisis

Some of you Brits are pretty cool. Your sense of humor is well-developed
and you have managed to do something we can't seem to accomplish here in
the United States. That is, your Negro minority actually seems educated
and able to speak the King's English with the typical British accent
while our Negro minority are mostly high school drop-outs and seem to
speak some kind of thick-tongued dialect that's barely English at all.

An American can listen to a U.S. radio talk show or a telephone
conversation and quickly conclude if one of the speakers is a Negro by
the uneducated, broken English dialect they all seem to use - doesn't
matter if they are from California or New York or Florida or Minnesota
they all sound the same. Our Negro prize fighters like Mike Tyson talk
like brutes for the most part but your Trevor Berbick, when he talks, if
you only heard him and did not see him, you'd not even know he was a
Negro. He sounds just like any other Brit. I think that's cool.

Your ignorance is astounding!
Prince Phillip was a member of the Greek royal family and absolutely nothing
to do with the last King of England. He was the Duke of Edinburgh until
Queen Elizabeth made him a prince.
Mind you, all this is of very little interest to most Brits!

Wilbur and Philip are like peas in a pod.

Controversial remarks
Wikiquote has a collection of quotations related to:
Prince Philip, Duke of EdinburghThe Duke is well-known in Britain for
cracking jokes during public visits that can come across as blunt,
insensitive, and racist.[10] His comments are often taken with a pinch
of salt in the UK and as characteristic of his sense of
humour.[citation needed]

Speaking to a driving instructor in Scotland, he asked: "How do you
keep the natives off the booze long enough to get them through the
test?"[11]
When visiting China in 1986, he told a group of British students, "If
you stay here much longer, you'll all be slitty-eyed".[11]
After accepting a gift from a Kenyan citizen he replied, "You are a
woman, aren't you?"[11]
"If it has four legs and is not a chair, has wings and is not an
aeroplane, or swims and is not a submarine, the Cantonese will eat
it." (1986)[11]
In 1966 he remarked that "British women can't cook."[11]
To a British student in Papua New Guinea: "You managed not to get
eaten then?"[11]
Angering local residents in Lockerbie when on a visit to the town in
1993, the Prince said to a man who lived in a road where eleven people
had been killed by wreckage from the Pan Am jumbo jet: "People usually
say that after a fire it is water damage that is the worst. We are
still trying to dry out Windsor Castle."[12]
On a visit to the new National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff, he told
a group of deaf children standing next to a Jamaican steel drum band,
"Deaf? If you are near there, no wonder you are deaf."[13][11]
In 2002, he asked an Indigenous Australian businessman, "Do you still
throw spears at each other?"[14][11]
Said to a Briton in Budapest, Hungary, "You can't have been here that
long – you haven't got a pot belly." (1993)[11]
Seeing a shoddily installed fuse box in a high-tech Edinburgh factory,
HRH remarked that it looked "like it was put in by an Indian".[15]
During a Royal visit to China in 1986 he described Beijing as
"ghastly".[16]
"Aren't most of you descended from pirates?" (in 1994, to an islander
in the Cayman Islands)[11]
At the height of the recession in 1981 he said: "Everybody was saying
we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are
unemployed."[11]
Upon presenting a Duke of Edinburgh Award to a student, when informed
that the young man was going to help out in Romania for six months, he
asked if the student was going to help the Romanian orphans; upon
being informed he was not, it was claimed the 85-year-old duke added:
"Ah good, there's so many over there you feel they breed them just to
put in orphanages."[17]
At the University of Salford, he told a 13-year-old aspiring
astronaut: "You could do with losing a bit of weight."[18]
In 1997, the Duke of Edinburgh, participating in an already
controversial British visit to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre (Amritsar
Massacre) Monument, provoked outrage in India and in the UK with an
offhand comment. Having observed a plaque claiming 2,000 casualties,
Prince Philip observed, "That's not right. The number is less." [19]
The Duke of Edinburgh may have been correct as several sources suggest
considerably fewer than the 2000 casualties claimed.[20][21]
During a Royal visit to a Tamil Hindu temple in London , he asked a
Hindu priest if he was related to the terrorist Tamil Tigers.[11]
He once attributed a badly finished carpentry job to one having been
done by an Indian.[22]
In 1996, he drew sharp criticism when he said "a gun is no more
dangerous than a cricket bat in the hands of a madman". The comment
came in the wake of the massacre of 16 children and their teacher in
Dunblane, Scotland.[23][11]
In 1987, he wrote in his book If I Were an Animal that "In the event
that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in
order to contribute something to solve overpopulation."[24]

We must be looking at different web pages, because the one you pointed at
clearly has no caption.

The fact is that the USA is the biggest and best armed terrorist nation on
earth. Which is why smaller terrorist groups are doing what they are doing.
Terrorism will never stop until the USA stops provoking it.

And the many Brits killed by US 'friendly fire' are not just cool, they're
stone cold.

Piss off Wilma, and tell it to the Marines - or even better, join the (US)
Marines, I believe they're developing a shortage, and with your brain
pre-removed you'd be an obvious candidate.

Would you have preferred a shooting incident, loss of life and the possible
start of a war to the enrichment of a few matelots and matelotesses?

No, but I would have expected our blokes to have behaved with more dignity.
Fancy complaining that they took his ipod away? If he had been in my crew he
would not have had any such thing on duty.
