I have one of these in an English built IP23 and I'm trying to fit a
temperature gauge. Can anyone please tell me what the normal operating range would be? Thank you.

Raw water cooled probably about 70C Heat exchanger or keel/tank cooled between 85 and 95C as long as it has a pressure cap. If not probably about 70C If you get seawater too hot it "furs" up the engine's water jacket, thus the low temperature for raw water cooling. -- Tony Brooks www.TB-Training.co.uk Maintenance & Electrical training for ordinary boaters |

Yanmar 1GM10 max coolant temp - according to workshop manual is 52 C. Raw water cooled - maybe similar. |

Mine is sea water cooled. This should have been stated. |
