It said "died suddenly" in one report - a car accident maybe? That's what I read too, but people aren't found dead at Lake Constance in Germany, people are found dead in the Bodensee/ Lake Constance. This is all a bit macabre (I know, I started it) but one could be discovered on the shore, in which case "Found dead at Lake Constance(*)/Loch Lomond/Buttermere" would be a reasonable way of putting it.
