Sunday Slammers

Not a rip roaringly good day's racing, but a couple stand out
nevertheless.

PRIME DEFENDER (3.30 Salisbury) looks destined to go onto bigger and
better things - something I've felt from the first time he ran. The
Haydock victory certainly suggested there was more there, and despite
the undoubted ability Of Sakhees Secret, I would be most surprised if
the former doesn't win well here.

WHAT A TREASURE (4.00 Salisbury) has probably not been caught by the
handicapper yet, and anything like a repeat of her last run at
Leicester would see her home. Rogue has looked very 'under-ridden' in
her previous couple of runs and must therefore be treated with both
interest and suspicion, but the former offers value, even at her
current exchange price IMHO.
