Default one thousand guineas this time

Have already backed SIMPLY GIFTED win and place, liked the way he won over
distance at Ascot and should be ok here, plenty of experience. One I`ve been
looking at is YAQEEN who has shown a liking for this track winning over 7f
beating CASSIARA 2l also drawn low.One from a high draw with a chance could
be HIGH ARCH of John OXxs,unbeaten and looks to be able to stay the extra
furlong, and with Mick KINANEs help may take a hand.imho

I've gone for Simply Perfect e/w as she has the ideal breeding for a
top-class miler (Danehill out of a Selkirk mare) and she has won a
recognised GP1 trial when scoring in the Fillies Mile at Ascot - I
can't understand why she is such a big price.

One that should not be under-estimated though is Richard Hannon's
Indian Ink who ran a decent 2nd on her debut in the 'Fred Darling' .
The only niggling doubt is whether she will see out the mile but there
is plenty of hope in the pedigree and she could possess the ideal
blend of speed and class required to win this so I'm backing her to
win it.

I like the favourite a lot but I've lost track on the number of decent
juvenile fillies who fail to go on the following season and the price
is just too skinny.

May have been skinny, but boy is she good(not sure thats grammatially
correct)won easily and is a class act.
High Arch stayed on for 2nd as did SIMPLY GIFTED for 3rd
