NEWM 1.55
NIGHT CRESCENDO beaten easily by the likely fav PINPOINT over a mile may strip a lot fitter this time and turn around the placings flws NEWM 230 LINDAS LAD may be the one to improve most this season,Andre Fabre has a lot of time for him. NEWM 3.45 PRESTO SHINKO always runs a good race fto and despite topweight doesnt seem badly treated,TAX FREE seems to be back in form. NEWM 5.30 REGAL PARADE Although his wins have been in lesser company, his trainer has no doubts about his ability and may prove valuable in the "getting out stakes"MISS LUCIFER looks a bit of value for a place at least. any other views today lads? -- David "That Damn Butterfly" |

My best bet for today though is John Dunlop's Sudoor who is sure to improve for the step up in trip being by Fantastic Light, will relish the ground a lot more than she did when floundering on the soft behind Fisceal Beo last year but had earlier ran ok in the May Hill. |

You seem to raise a good point here indeed. Some long-shots worth considering today are ANTHEMION (2.40 Hamilton) whose consistency makes his price excellent place value. Won a modest race on a lighter mark well last time. If he's not too rusty, layers are being generous here. PRIMO WAY (3.55 Hamilton) would seem reasonably treated here at his best, on offer at a decent price chiefly because of turning up over a distance so much in excess of his usual fare. Clearly connections believe he'll stay and on that basis, a bob or two may not be too misspent. In the 5.15 Salisbury, CARCINETTO was very unlucky last time around in another amateur affair and has a consistency lacking in some of the others. She's always threatened to be a better runner than she's ever shown, but in this class and on current form is definitely overpriced. Whatever you take on today though, do make it profitable. Good luck chaps. |
