Soldier Of Fortune - not an impressive victory (although did have a
penalty) but taking into account his overall form, ability to handle the Epsom gradients and the fact that he is likely to be the O'Brien no.1 - he looks a decent price to me and the only other one I like from the Irish camp at the moment is Archipenko 'if' he lines up in the Derrinstown. Apart from that the only other 3 that catch my eye at this stage are Salford Mill (can improve on last run) or the Gosden pair - Raincoat and Yamazaan - been looking forward to seeing the later run but may not be till the Dante next week. Thoughts ? |

Mariotto is a horse i want to see, nicely bred and will get better with experience, the worrying thing is he has no entries coming up so i doubt he would make it to Epsom. Mores Wells is another i like, has a good attitude and will improve for the step up in trip. Form of last race has been franked, could run big at Epsom. Ren |
