Well he was nothing if not impressive,if you have backed him for the Derby
you would be feeling confident now :-)
Held up,eased in to it by Frankie and then lengthened and went clear.

Just watched the race and it was mighty impressive. I personally don't
think the overall form of the race was up to much but there was no
doubting the style of his victory and he is a worthy favourite now.
However, it is worth pointing out that Aqaleem finished ahead of him
last season and was equally impressive in the Lingfield Derby trial. I
can't see how Tregoning can not run him in the Derby now after today
and I personally think he would represent the better value, at least
as an each-way bet. I'm feeling less confident about having decent
odds on Soldier Of Fortune and Archipenko but at least they have
already made the race profitable for me and you never know. I do feel
inclined to think alternatively to the masses today and add Aqaleem to
my Derby portfolio having missed the decent odds about Authorized.
