Best place to ask that question is rec.autos.simulators. I think a lot of them play rfactor but I don't know if it has a setup for modern F1 cars - it is a very modern simulator by all accounts with a good physics engine. I think my next purchase will either be rfactor for the 1979 F1 mod, or GTR2. I don't think there's a good modern simulator in the Grand Prix 4 style that has all the current tracks and drivers exactly like being at the race, but rfactor being relatively open, you'll probably be able to find the mods you need by asking in r.a.s. to get the car models and then just change the driver names yourself. Looking at the rfactor website, I see it comes with a 2006 BMW Sauber model but no other modern F1 cars listed. -- Phil http://www.flickr.com/photos/tmc1979/ |
