No great surprise with respect to Renault given their driver line up but
the once mighty Williams have really fallen.

Anyone who has watched Fissi under-perform in a great car over the past
few years won't be surprised. He's a mediocre No.2 driver and I'm sure
that Renault would prefer someone else in the No.1 seat but they were
left standing up when the music stopped last year.

Looks too large a gap to me. In a changed environment, I rate Ron
Dennis's McLaren better able to cope than Ferrari, unless of course MS
is CEO when I'd say there little in it.

To be fair though, I'd say Massa at 5s was worth a punt. Ferrari won't care
which one of them wins, and I reckon Massa has the better chance of getting
the early results to promote himself to the number 1...

Is it any suprise? The competition has changed and privateers havnt
been able to win consistently for many years now. How is a private
team supposed to beat all the manufacturers? Its not going to happen.

I'd think the size of that gap is understandably a result of drivers.
Ferrari has two drivers who in the last two years have won
multiple races.
McLaren has one, and a rookie.
Renault has one, and a rookie.

I can't understand why Ralf still has a drive, especially at the
inflated rates that Willi Weber gets for him.
