Well done England! Great series, great win...but the real toppling of
Australia will be when they lose a series at home (they lost to India in India too in 2001) and that hasn't happened since....not even I know - probably West Indies in the 80's sometime? Maybe at the end of the year/early next year? And I'm not talking about the West Indies... |

And I'm not talking about the West Indies... > Bearing in mind in 18 months time McGrath, Warne etc may not be still able to play because of their age or certainly be vulnerable (again) in what is now a more athletic game and there are question marks over alot of their players (Gillespie etc),Tait (with that action injury cannot be far away) I think it will not be as dificult defending the Ashes as overcoming the pressure of actually winning them especially after going one down in the series a the beginning.
