Default If Shane Warne had stood on the ball..................

.......................instead of Glen McGrath and was out of the entire
series, do you think we would be wrapping up this test match for
a 4 - 1 ashes win?

I think without Warne the Aussies are just average test players.

I wouldn't go that far, but I agree that they would have missed Warne
even more than they have missed McGrath.

Agree to a point.. think the Aussies in this series (Warne and to a lesser
extent Brett Lee apart) have performed well below their best. Without Warne,
we would have clinched the series by now for sure. and Tests 2-4 would have
been won comfortably. He has kept them in it, especially at Old Trafford. On
the other hand.. a fit Simon Jones made enough of a difference in tests 2
and 4 between victory and defeat.

Jim.

If Freddie had stood on that cricket ball, it would just have been 1 flatter
cricket ball.

Seriously, you know how bad England are without Freddie - you played them
that way last time.

Warney is THE best , he dont know when he's beaten , he is without doubt THE
GREATEST test match player of ALL time , and yep I'm English , its been an
unbelievable series and I think England will win it but with more drama to
come tomorrow

And they're still the #1 team in the world in both forms of the game.
