Assuming that your question refers to a non-Caucasian with less than 15 centuries of English history, I reckon Robert's answer will be no. Of course, a white South African that moved here when he was, say, 9 or 10 would fit the bill perfectly - when can he start. Graybags |

I just want to know of what you thought of Bopara's 135 against Australia, as you only mentioned the great innings of his partner, Cook. Also, in your opinion, is Bopara good enough to at least make the England A team? Either way, WHY? Don't worry Simon - RH only answers what he wants to, and quite often not what the OP actually asked for! Have a look at some of the attempts he made to push around the subject of (not) naming "Who in [his] view should not play for England then due to them being 'white mercenaries' or 'immigrants' to the country?" -- Champions!!!! That's not an answer, or at the very least, it's the answer to a different question. Why are you being so dis-courteous to Larry? |

OK, forget about consideration for any future England team. I was very confused as to why you highlighted Cook's innings of 200 odd against the Aussies but did not ever mention his partner Bopara's innings in the very same game of 135 or so. Any comment on his innings? Does he show great potential to go on to greater things in higher levels in the future? RH No all you have done is to pathetically avoid answering a simple question. I think you pretend to know more about English cricket than you do if you cant even answer a simple question about an innings of 135 or so from a young English player. At least with Sri Lankan players and issues, I answer all questions and give it my best shot instead of avoiding it like a sissy. Bopara is a classy looking batsman, and I don't think many impartial and objective judges would dispute that he is amongst the current crop of younger players with the potential to do very well in the game. Whether he will fully realise that potential remains to be seen. I didn't see his innings against the Australians, so can't comment, but it sounds like most batsmen would like to take that wicket around with them, if they could :-) |
