I used to have a friend who taught a class called Altered States of
Consciousness at a local community college. As I got to know her
better she showed me just how powerful a clairvoyant she was. I
learned that there isn't that much to it other than entering a
particular alpha state to get the brain
into 8.3 Hz activity.

I gave it a go.
I wasn't surprised.
I had one or two drawings which turned out to be a little like the target
pictures, if you stretched the imagination a bit, but overall, I was
completely underawed.

I for myself, dont need training in Remote Viewing neither does anyone.
You dont become a remote viewer by being trained.
You become a remote viewer by birth you are born with the gift. Noone ever
trained me in Mediumship nor in any way to do remote viewer work. I was
given simply a blank piece of A3 sized paper which was blank, and a black
texta and asked just draw what I sensed was there in Japan where they were
to find bodies and thus I did so. I never heard of a remote viewer or a real
genuine Medium needing any training in order to do it. You simply just do
it. No training is needed, it comes from within and your born with it or
your not.
I do remote viewing anyway in the cases I work on in Japan in areas I have
never been to nor know anything about.

doubts once proven accurate.I also dont think genuine Mediums are trained,
they are born and just "do".

I disagree with the training thing...I know that i should be able to do all
sorts of things, but as of yet havn't managed to tap them except by
accident, so I could definately use some training.

I wasn't over keen on the suggestion that 'genuine' mediums are born
either, from my experience everyone has some degree of ability that can
be developed with training. Though the natural mediums normally had
more ability.
Some of the born and natural mediums I've encountered were also a complete
mess, with little control or understanding, so clearly training by
someone competent is always a bonus.
