Hi,

I have had a few strange experiences and wondered if anyone could tell me if
they have had anything similar?
I see faces when trying to go to sleep, i'm not talking about when u look at
most things u can make it look like a face, but whole face, glasses, hair
everything like a photo.
and a few nights ago I was alone and heard a knocking noise, I thought it
was coming through the ceiling from upstairs but everyone was asleep, after
about 10 minutes I traced it to my sitting room door which has small glass
panels, these and the door were shaking making the noise, I thought there
was wind blowing through but the back door was closed and nothing else was
shaking, I put my hands on the glass and it stopped. I was not scared but am
puzzled what it could be.

Any ideas? I am not into psychic stuff really had one email reading after my
mum died, I have lost a lot of family and friends, How do psychics know they
are psychic?

Good question,
how do they know? I guess everyone's experience is different,
mine was so dramatic, sort of overnight, that I saw a vicar because I was a
very sceptical, scientific sort of person and my experiences contradicted my
beliefs, dramatically,
he helped me a lot , explaining about the spirit etc.,
As for the faces ,
well really what do you think?
Karen I have met you and know you are a very sensitive person,
it wouldn't surprise me at all if you are very psychic

Hi, Karen;

I have read somewhere that there is an estimated 12 to 15 per cent of
the world's population that are psychic in one way or another (that's
roughly 720 to 960 million people worldwide). There are some
seventy-two known psi abilities from astralportation to Xenoglossy
(the gift of tongues), and from what you describe, I'd say you were
experiencing objective clairvoyance which is defined as the ability to
"see" people, events, that are taking place on spiritual planes or
alternate dimensions. Or maybe it's dream clairvoyance; do you know or
recognize the people you see before you go to sleep?

Some gifts like precognition and telekinesis make themselves
obvious over time. If books jump off of shelves when you get angry or
there are sudden fires, that's pretty clearly telekinesis (or as some
prefer, psychokinesis) and psychopyresis. If you always know who's on
the other end of the phone before it rings or suddenly decide for no
reason to take another route home, only to find later on that there
was a bad accident on the street you would normally have taken-- that
indicates things like premonition, precognition, and /or several other
time scanning gifts.

However, some gifts like clairvoyance and telepathy are tricky. Some
people "hear voices" and are really telepathic; others hear voices and
are schizophrenic. I was on a bus and overheard a person say that he
thought he was psychic, then told the person he was talking to that he
was really schizoid. the difference is in what the voices say. For
example, a telepath might pick-up a voice saying, "God, I'm so sick of
this damn job; I'm going to quit tomorrow." A schizophrenic person
would hear a voice telling that person that people are watching
him/her; that people are reading their mind, etc.

But telepathy also works the other way when the people around you
start knowing what you are thinking. Telempathy is the ability to
communicate with animals. There are a lot of variations, a lot of psi
abilities. We psis become aware of them over time. Some like empathy,

Thankyou for your reply,
No I don't recognise the faces I see but they are so clear, how could u
imagine someone's face in such details without ever seeing them?
I do often go to the phone a second before it rings, usually I will pick up
my mobile seconds before a message comes through, even if i've not sent or
am not expecting a message to come through, on one night it happened 3 or 4
times with an hour or so in between - people ask me how I do that but I
don't know. Also when i'm not expecting any visitors i'l look out of the
window to see someone arriving as if I knew they were coming! It's very
strange.

On a Different Note - Does anyone know anything about the Enfield Ghost, it
was pretty famous and I saw a program about it last week which was bril, it
was so famous at the time and after and had been almost completely
forgotten, my husband was in the same class as the girl (Janet) and we live
in enfield not far from where it happened, I am trying to get a copy of the
book but cannot find out what the film was called - if there was one?

Genuine Mediums know that they are different from an exceptionally early
age.
It would seem that you have a spirit wishing in some way to be noticed by
you. Try to sit down in the area with peaceful calm and tell it that you
mean no harm and ask them to identify themselves to you and ask if they have
a message for you.

I think it is someone whom wants to let you know that they are there or give
a message or warning.
Myself, all my adult life since I married John, I get the front door is
knocked on always just before there is a catastrophe about to happen and we
are thus forewarned to be careful and be aware to be very observant in our
surroundings
