It's pointless just yakking away like old women over a garden fence and always agreeing with each other. When opinions conflict it is an ideal chance to get your point across and maybe even *gasp* listen to someone else's. You might just find out something really interesting. Skeptics may well be here for the chance to open their minds a bit and find out something new, don't be do damned unwelcoming. If its such a big deal keeping discussions amongst the select 'believers', don't chat on a public ng. |

Check out the recent skeptic posts and you'll see that there wasn't much encouragement for anyone here to discuss anything, other than that I agree with what you're saying. Unfortunately those of us that do profess to some degree of ability usually find life is just too short to continually butt heads with skeptics, especially when they don't have an inkling of the same perceptions as we do. |

Plus the fact that their Science is usually 17th century at best. They've yet to understand that what was once called the Scientific Method is now considered just one tool in a box of tools when you are dealing with information exchange between human subjects. Cognitive Science they've never heard of, it seems. It ain't like dustin' crops, boy! Zinc out.... |
