Being a total fashion slave I have to say I love the purple background ,
which is my colour for this winter,

Yes. Nicely done. Good work Eli. Note the following good design
features:
(1) only one large graphic -- the banner; every other graphic is tiny;
(2) consistent sans-serif fonts;
(3) use of javascript menus and nested tables to create the usefulness
of frames without the overhead;
(4) clean, practical rollovers on the links created with a cascading
style sheet.

The only thing I would add is the use of disjoint rollovers for the
active links; this is becoming the standard for sites.

I love your website. Which means, as everyone here knows....

You can't be a genuine Psychic, because all genuine Psychics have swapped
the "web design" part of the brain for "the seeing eye". All except one
regular (you know who you are... ) who does both, but I suspect a deal with
the devil ;-)

This index page is written so cleanly that I'm going to use it
tomorrow for my web design class, to encourage geeky engineering types
to consider smooth design.

I'm really interested as to what editor was used for this; there
aren't any comments to indicate it; but the popouttext.js script (do a
view source for it) is really nice; that must have come from an
automated scripting program.

Unless this Eli guy writes it out of his head! The main page looks
handwritten, but then he'd understand every line of the javascript.
Unless this is some new kind of psychic...hmmm...let me get back to
you on it.
