In need of guidance...

I'm in need of some guidance... I was wearing a silver chain, with a
pointed end on both ends, and is six faceted piece of fluorite. I
was
looking in the mirror, but the chain and fluorite seemed like there
was a
second one next to it. Almost like seeing double. What was strange
though,
was that the chain and fluorite were in double, almost like a ghostly
shape,
but everything else that the mirror displayed was normal...

Can anyone shed some light on this? I'm not exactly sure what had
happened.. =S

Your mirror has the shiny layer on the back side of the glass to
protect it. The front side of the glass reflects like a mirror
as well, but this second image is much fainter. You only see it
when the reflected object is bright and the background you see
behind it is dark. Also, the effect is easier to see if you stand
to the left and use the mirror to look at someone or something
standing to the right. Try it with a candle or a small fashlight
and you will see the second image more clearly.
