Every night since I was a small child I have seen people in my room, from
victorian children to cowboys to old women. My mother and sister have this
too but only occasionally. I feel wide awake and they always seem so real.

I can leave the room and re-enter and they are still there. I have been to
the doctor and she has refered me to a sleep clinic and put me on a sleeping
pill - I dont really want to be on them..

I always remember my dreams and they are very strange to say the least, I
often suffer from nightmares too.

On friday I was in a bar and there was a lady doing Runes and she offered to
do mine for free, she was very accurate, she also told me I was a psycic and
I was in frequent contact with the 'other side', I hadnt even mentioned my
'hallucinations'.

A few years ago I had my palm read at a fair, she told me the same thing. Im
still sceptical but am intrested in finding out what I should do next if I
have got a gift?

Hi, I've always disliked the term gift as I see it as more of an ability
which everyone shares to some degree or other, my usual advice on
things like this is to find a local spook (Spiritualist) church and see if
they have an open circle (development group) you can join and see
if it's right for you.

At least you'll find like minded people who should be able to make
sense out of much of it for you and give you the skills needed to gain
a degree of control over it, try http://www.snu.org.uk/churches.htm
to see if there's anything near you.

Last night I saw a figure in a black cloak with a pointed hood in the
mirror, the weird thing is my boyfriend saw it too but at the foot of the
bed. He has never seen anything like this, where as I see things EVERY
night! Im now doubting that what I am seeing is hallucinations. It is very
often I see these Hooded Figures.

Hallucinations? Spirits?

My questions to your questions are:
What else do you need to confirm your gift and why is this a problem?
I mean, I don't want to sound crass, and I'm just really
curious...what *if* these 2 readers are correct and what if you have
the gift and what if you aren't having hallucinations and if you
are...why do others perceive them also?
Please, I want to understand you better.
