A certain man attained Enlightenment, but it was deceptive. For one, he was
not alone. He thought himself special and unique, but there was not one person in the world who was beneath him and his Enlightenment. In reality, his mind was rapidly degenerating. It felt good to him because in the process of degenerating, his brain chemistry was dissipating energy that made him feel peaceful, serene, calm, loving and comfortable. All his life his mind had worked in overdrive. It was beginning to catch up on him. His mind was breaking down. He was on the way to becoming a vegetable. If Mr. Enlightenment was going to keep his mind, he had what was left of it to push himself. Now came the turning point where he had exercise his body to live. If he didn't, his mind would dissolve into mush. Who is Mr. Enlightenment? Nobody that special. |
