Default An Ode to Autumn

Autumn radiates a predatory kind of love intent on hooking her men for
amusement. She is soft and gentle, and also weak. She has situated herself
between two centers of power as though she owned them, but in practice she
is like a feather between two tornadoes 500 yards apart. The delicate
balance she requires to exploit the two is an unstable balance, which she
must constantly control and adjust in attempt to maintain her throne. Even
when circumstances crystallize and go her way, she has really very little to
do with it, although she fools herself that she does.

That's August for you. A marshmallow flanked by two 50 ton cubes of
granite. Glory be to her, for what she's worth, but marshmallows are more
delicious cooked over an open fire.

Autumn is a marshmallow?
Or has your brain turned into a marshmallow?

You are wrongly assuming the loon had something to metamorphose.
