A Clue to Salvation

My past is a part of me that is permanently branded in who I am today. In
my distant past, like 20 years ago, I used to write letters. Those who read
my letters may experience a glimmer of hope to extract themselves from the
unfortunate predicaments that they've gotten themselves into, in spite of
themselves.

Here is why I now offer a clue. A thousand of my letters still remain
someplace.

To find the clue, you have to join my newsgroup. In order to join it, you
have to surrender your email address to me, and the reason why you want to
join, subject to my approval, of course. Once you're in, you can go to the
Files section and read the clue.
