Hi Chaps
I had a bash at taking a bunch of 10 second exposures of M13 the other day, then tried registax to stack them.... The result was worse than the best frame! Could this be because i did not pick the best frames from the bunch ? Thanks Rob -- ________________________ http://robert.thegeakes.co.uk/ 51:21N 00:23E |

Wow,
When i go to sleep tonight i will have pictures of M13 and M2757 burned onto my retina. Thanks for the response, if it where a competition i think Pete.L would be the winner, they are all better than mine. I was hoping some one would use Photoshop, i have used that alot. I have read about stacking with this app but never tried it. It saves me from "learning" a new bit of software. I will give it a bash tomorrow and post the results.. If you hadn't been brave enough to post a link to your original 'poor' (in the nicest possible way of course) attempts, you would not have ended up with the nice result you have. That might help with the noise too. Robin |
