Default Selene and Aphrodite from Greece

Dear Group,

What a great spectacle earlier today involving two of the three
brightest objects in the daytime sky. For a glimpse of today's lunar
occultation of Venus, I kindly direct you to the following links:

I hope you find the results of interest.

Clear skies!

Anthony.

Here (SW England) it was a quadrille, a dance of the 4 brightest
objects !
- - Earth's clouds and high haze
- - the sun illuminating that haze to a milky white sky instead of
blue
and of course the moon and venus which I could get in my binoculars
but not naked eye
Only got the exit though.

Thanks to John for the previous post which alerted me to the event
Thanks to Anthony and Pete for the superb pics ( as always)
