Otherwise, you're almost certainly a trolling sock puppet: http://groups.google.com/groups?as_q...007&s afe=off By stark contrast, compare: http://groups.google.com/groups/sear...fe=on&num=100& Whether you use a consistent "From:" header, or consistently use one, unique name in your signature, in order to properly identify your autograph to your readership, is up to you. But always be consistent. I PGP clear-sign all of my articles to thwart forgeries, since I strictly use the remailers to post. 2) Don't use Google Groups to post usenet messages to usenet servers. Google Groups are notorious for spammers and trolls, and some readers have already globally killfiled _all_ posts containing message ID header suffix "googlegroups.com", e.g.: * drop message-id:...|*googlegroups* I don't do this, because possibly 1 out of every 100 posts from the Google Groups server are legitimate messages from people who are deadly-serious about their subject matter. And Google's usenet newsgroups archives, "Google Groups", is the only act in town for searching archived articles, with some articles dating back to 1981. Only non-public, dedicated government servers have access to such records. The rest of us rely on the 'Google Groups' interface, to publicly access and search these vast newsgroup archives. 3) If English is not your first language, say so. Tell us where you're from, and what your first language is. There are some fairly good translation websites on the Internet, albeit carrying on a conversation between, say, an English- speaker and a German-speaker has its built-in limitations, and that's assuming that both can communicate coherently and effectively in the first place. Not a safe assumption... And whatever language you're fluent in, please use a context- sensitive spell-checker before submitting your article/reply. E.g., see subject header: note the "you" instead of "your"! Nobody's perfect, and spelling flames are among the lamest of all, but chronic misspellings, and incoherent sentences (the one tends to accompany the other), make you look like a laughingstock to readers -- particularly to the "lurkers", those who read messages in these groups but seldom if ever post or reply to them. So use a damn spell-checker already! 4) Once and awhile, talk about actual astronomy, astrology, tarot, and other closely, intrinsically, related subjects. As holds true for all branches of science, Astronomy isn't an "Atheists-only" subject! God is always welcome in every unmoderated usenet newsgroup--whether the Atheists like it or not. Therefore, *ALWAYS* include God in _every_ article and reply, and constantly remind the Atheists that they do *NOT* have any kind of monopoly whatsoever on these groups, just as they are about to lose their oppressive, draconian Atheist-monopoly over America's public schools, courts and government in general. "Atheist-onlyism" must be destroyed! Thus I've added a couple of Non-Atheist *astronomy* article- links to this thread, thereby putting it back on-topic, and always open to *serious* replies from *serious* astronomers, and contrarily merely entertained by what few troll-replies I still see from the resident Atheists/trolls in this group (I use killfiles galore, to winnow the wheat from the chaff), as well as from four other Astronomy groups I've added here; seeing that we Christians are at *WAR* against the Atheists, so we're using _every_ means at our disposal to destroy them, knowing the Atheists & other "fundies" cannot bear the Truth: *Min's 'The Heresy Of Copernicus' (counting from one to ten): http://groups.google.com/groups?selm...r.cyberiade.it *Min's 'Observing and Predicting Planetary Orbits' (very simple): http://groups.google.com/groups?selm...stycreek.c om Clear Skies!
