Yeah you could get a digicam to connect to the scope, sounds like you really want PC connectivity though so if I were you I would invest in a celestron NexImage or Meade LPI webcam which connect straight to yyour pc and will take good planetary pics. The best planet to view right now is Saturn and as your scope has a 900mm focal length your 4mm eyepeice will give you 225x magnification which should look awesome. As for a drive, I'm not sure. I am unfamiliar with the mount and the cost of mount replacement compared to the cost of this scope means its probably better to upgrade the whole thing later on if you get hooked on astronomy! Happy viewing Andy |

>> >hich Oh yes!! At the moment as has been said Saturn is the one, very easy to spot look for a slightly redish star near the moon just off it's bottom left. Can make it out with the eyes pretty well so you should find it ok. my 130mm with a 10mm lens gives a lovelly view at the moment, not to much detail but you can see the rings very clearly. Just have to wait for a clear night now, very cloudy here tonight :-( Incedntly i've just bought a meade electronic eyepeice from the states on ebay - new at $18 so no loss if its pants - monochrome only and obviosly ntsc but thats fine my tv/dvd supports that. Anyone tried these? Any good?
