Like I said You have a low standard for defining a "hero"
Fatboy and I are about the same age and are from the same hometown.
I read his rag while in HS. He used to wail about the inhuman
conditions in the auto factories...but never stepped inside of one

That pretty well sums up his invesitgative abilities

What - he was supposed to take a factory job because he wanted to be a film
maker?
Explain the logic to me on that one!

So exactly what was wrong with Bowling for Columbine?

You keep asking, we keep posting. Are you thick or what?
Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over expecting a

If you had any experience in dealing first hand with the "media" you'd know
they always get the story 40%-90% wrong. Here's an idea - go stage some sort
of protest that you feel strongly about, something that will get media
attention. Get interviewed, display your 1st hand knowledge of the issue.
THen watch it on television that night and read about it in the paper and
see how many times the "reporter" changes the story to make it more
sensational or put their own spin on it.
It's ALWAYS like that. Reporters alre lazy and do as little work as
possible. That's why for the last three years the media has been doing Roves
work for him - just repeating whatever the WH wants them to repeat.

If never saw the film and cannot tell me what's wrong with it, that's your
problem. I'm not going to read through a list of minor nitpicks (and the 1st
example, presumed to be the worst infraction, is a nitpick - hence the rest
are nitpicks). If you cannot defend your own point of view, it's not my
problem.

He did not have any basis in fact for his positions

Since you apparently support Moore is that ok with you?

Yes and no
In a plant of 2000+ people there might be a few poor jobs
This plant had strong UAW representation and payed damn good wages

Of course Moore was not interested in honesty then or now

Compare speeches on CSpan to whats reported in the media

So that excuses Moores actions?

Right..thats why they are dragging up the same AWOL issue that was
dragged up in 2000

You asked " what was wrong with Bowling for Columbine" After seeing
"Roger and Me" (something I have more experience about that fatboy)
His MO is pretty well established

I'm not going to read through a list of minor nitpicks (and the 1st

I find cited examples of lies, fabrications, and deception with
"Bolwling" more than sufficient evidence.

The fact that you will not criticize a person you support for such
activity is more revealing.

I suspect you would take a different approach if a "right winger"
were as dishonest as Moore
