Hey all,
I am considering replacing the standard Tamiya TGS (1/10 scale) chasis with an upgraded lightweight chasis. My concern is whether all the components from the factory assembled nitro car transplant to a new chasis??? I want to do this in the view of upgrading all the parts over time to create a higher performance car... Also considering just starting a new project and keeping the Tamiya running until finished... Last week while at the local hobby shop (RC Hobby's) I saw a kick ass truck with a great looking engine... Any opinion's on the best way to go would be appreciated re; car / truck / comparative costs? I originally bought the Tamiya off a friend as it became too much maintanence for a lazy young lad. It cost him $360 and I got it for $180 and thought it would be a fun hobby for a while but have become so addicted to all aspects from driving to pulling it apart for maintenance that I cant see this being a short lived faze as I want to get a decent car / truck and start racing at the local track... ps: Great Newsgroup D |
