My brother bought a DFX last year. Have tried tweaking preamp gain &
sensitivity, and read about what each setting does. There's a .xls program spreadsheet to download at http://www.dfxonly.com/forum/viewtop...5622135cb976d7 I personally found changing its settings relatively easy, apart from not understanding how to enter discrimination accept/reject. e.g. Acc -45 to +94, Rej -95 to -46 (and maybe Rej +95). Will try again soon... (Just ordered the Digging Deeper with the DFX book) It seems to me that having only 4 EEPROM memories available to save custom programs in is too small? Especially as you don't have a data cable (or flash memory card socket) to transfer data to/from a PC, so I'd expect it to be able to store >=16. Paul |
