Default Sherlock DTS Pinpoint probe

Hi!

Has anyone used the Sherlock DTS Pinpoint probe. It is quite cheap and
I don't know if it is worth anything. Thanks for any suggestions about
reasonably priced probes.

I have one of these:
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...uestid=3 5803

It's quite small and light (which I like) and is as
sensitive as any I've tried. About 1 inch on most
coins.

It has only a buzzer mode (no silent vibrator)
but it's so handy to use it's the one I grab when
I go out now.

Yup, got one. Nearly exactly the same as the merlin range, just a bit
cheaper.

Thanks a lot for your answers. One more question: I've also found a
Seben pinpointer (Force V) on e-bay. Seems to be similar or even the
same as Sherlock. Anyone has tried that one?
