Default See what I found today....

Went searching the site of a 2nd world war POW camp, now demolished.
Excellent day. Found loads of things, too many to list in fact. Go here to
see pics of what I found:
http://www.geocities.com/ldavison10/...s_Finds18.html

BUT BEFORE YOU DO;
A few questions on items i found
1) Live bullets, safe or not? give to police or just leave lying around for
a talking piece?
2) When did "dental cream" become "toothpaste"? Found a few tubes today.
3) Any poofters know when Nivea hand cream went from being in shoe polish
type tins to plastic ones we have nowadays?
4) Anyone know what the tubes with the ring on top are? I thought they might
be the pins to hold the "do not cross this wire or you will be shot" string.

Regards
Lee

1 Live small arms ammo is more or less safe, if you find anything bigger
than .50 BMG shells tho don't pick them up and bring them home ;-) .
2 I've seen potlids from the 1840s with toothpaste printed on them.
3 I'm not a poofter so have no idea what Nivea is used for other than hand
cream nor do I want to know :-( .
4 dunno.
all the best
