Actually, Mike, this would almost certainly have a knock-on effect over
here. Whilst most UK domestic valuations may use the London Gem Lab, for
export markets they would invariably use the GIA which is the most
internationally recognised valuation source. This is a major scandal which
has the potential to cause shock-waves world-wide in the diamond trade.

If we had the Brits to depend on for something this complex we'd
