What if the answer was 'it'll only go as deep as 1inch on an old penny'. I think she'd be pretty p'ed off she didn't buy a different detector, or asked before she bought the bounty hunter. Texy |

Pity you didn't get my point, despite explaining myself further, and then you have to resort to insults. Texy |

And, just because *you* don't agree doesn't mean I can't express my opinion. And, my opinion is that your comments were very unhelpful. > Pity you didn't get my point Your "point" was exactly, "You've fallen in the usual beginners trap of buying the detector before you asked the questions bon how good that detector is!" And yes, I do get it. It's a gross putdown and a very unhelpful comment to make. > then > you have to resort to insults. Yes. A shame isn't it? Ed |

Nor did she ask for advice, she asked if the detector she bought was an OK piece of equipment. So, Deborah, ignore this Bozo, enjoy your detector and please understand that your fellow detectorists are much like the treasures you'll uncover. Some are nuggets and some are pull-tabs. Learn to discrimate the pull-tabs and you'll enjoy your new hobby immensely. Oh, and by the way, a Bounty Hunter is a perfectly appropriate choice. Now go find something... Bill |
