hi,
I have just put a 10.5" polo coil (previously had the 8"polo) on my Laser b1
hi power & wondered if it is possible to use this coil in the fixed mode
rather than the adjustable mode (manual ground balance). It states in the b1
manual that the10.5" coil should only be used in the adjustable mode, but is
this correct? Anyone else use this coil in the fixed mode?, any problems?

A second question about the 10.5" coil is that I find I have to turn the
level of discrimination up a fair bit higher than I did with the 8" coil.
Small iron nails are only being knocked out at about disc setting 3 where as
with the 8" I usually had the disc on 0 or 1 for similar results. Is this
normal for the 10.5" coil?
