Default C-Scope 650D and 770D

Hi,
I have not done any detecting for a looooong time.
I have two C-Scopes a 650D and a 770D (Wow! That long!)
They may shortly be heading in the direction of that well known auction
site Eb*y.

Do you reckon they will sell and if so what may they be worth.
I have seen a website that mentions the 650D is quite rare. I guess
that means everyone has long ago mislaid the ones they had >:-)

I have lost contact with the detecting "scene" and wouldn't have a clue
if these two detectors would sell or not.

Thanks for any info,
Reg

I had a 950D and I mislaid it years ago, thank God! I would say that the
only way these would sell is if someone wants it as a collectors item.
Postage would probably be more than you would get for them.

You'd be amazed at what there is on Ebay lately. There's even a bloke
who has a job lot of heads for the current British Army mine detector to
sell. Just the head units, mind, nothing else and those things don't fit
any other detector.

On that score, watch out what you are getting if you go for a mine
detector; there's lots of the old 4C units going begging these days, and
they're about as effective as a Tandy with a dud battery. There're also
a few Schiebel units, Falklands war vintage knocking about; not bad kit
(I have one myself).

Just don't use a Schiebel mine detector at a rally; they interfere with
any other machine within quite a wide radius, so you'll either end up
getting lynched, booted out of the rally or just end up as Billy
No-Mates on your tod in the middle of the field.
