I've just bought a CB licence, so I don't think you're right saying that's
it's been dropped. Unless I've got the wrong end of the stick here - which
can easily happen.

The latest word from Ofcom is that the licence will remain for now.
They intend to test the new CADS service for 1 year, after which they
will decide whether to keep or drop the licence.
