Default Wanted: Colt Excalibur Mk2

Hi, I'm after a Colt Excalibur Mk2, must be in excellent condition.
I am offering a Ranger 2950DX 24-32Mhz boxed in excellent condition in
exchange.

Cheers, Threlly

i've got a bottle of insain tablets if you want any..
shirly a marko excaliber would be a better buy and you'd get about £100
pt/ex for your rig too..
or why not just get a jumbo and £150 and buy your self some gold spray and a
lettraset kit, no one will know.. !!

any difference ?? (besides bands and board number)
still a CB with a cybernet board,
120channels of crap..well this time of year 119 channels of nothing and
27.781 !!
to be honest keep the ranger, or get an HF rig..
there's some real cheap HF 100w 0-30mhz rigs about..

Well, not interested in amateur radio anymore, so no requirement to
listen outside of general 11m area.
The Ranger covers two amateur bands I have no interest in, plus, to use
them would require a more complex antenna or the use of an A.T.U.,
neither of which I desire.
The Colt/Marko for all their faults (there are many) work well enough,
plug in the wall and look presentable.
It will cover the CEPT allocation, part of the UK FM section and few
places of interest, all covered with one fairly cheap antenna.
Plus, I really only talk to one or two people, so I'm not chasing DX or
whatever.
If anybody has a mint Mk2, they'll get a good rig and a bargain to boot.
