If I was to install a rig & 1/4 wave whip antenna in a shed made
mainly of wood how would i ground the antenna?
Should I line the roof with steel lol?

if the ariel is going on the roof, then use wire to make a groundplane.

bolt the aerial and it's mount to a piece of metal and run 4 9foot pieces of
wire from each corner of the metal plate..
failing that just buy a ground plane kit, £7 from knights or £10 on fleabay
from yeomanselectronics.
bolt aerial mount to kit and stand on roof of shed, nail it down so it don't
get nicked..!!
